Q&A: Understanding the New Newsletter Submission Process

Q: I have a subscription, but I’m not sure how to send my newsletters since I am still on the free Mailchimp plan. Can I still use the Customized Nutrition Newsletters service, and how does the new system work?

A: Great question! We’ve implemented a simple solution that works for everyone, regardless of which email platform you use or whether you have a paid account.

Here’s how it works:

1. Log into your account and create your newsletter exactly as you always have – customize your articles, add your content, personalize it for your practice
2. Save your newsletter – you’ll be brought to your “My Newsletter” page
3. Click the new “Submit” button – this sends us your selected newsletter titles, articles, news, events, and all your customizations

1. We build it for you – within 2 business days, our team will format your newsletter and send you a test version
2. Review and send – you’ll receive the formatted newsletter to review, make any final edits, and send to your contact list

Q: What if I don’t use Mailchimp or don’t have a paid Mailchimp account?

A: No problem at all! This new process works whether you:

• Use Mailchimp’s free plan
• Use a different email marketing platform (Constant Contact, ConvertKit, MindBody, MailerLite, etc.)

When you submit your newsletter through our platform, we’ll format it and send you the completed version. You can then use it however works best for your practice.

Q: Do I need to do anything differently or upgrade my account?

A: No changes needed on your end! Your subscription continues exactly as before. Simply create your newsletters in our platform and use the Submit button. We’ll handle the formatting, and you handle the sending through whatever system you prefer.

Q: Will this affect the quality or customization of my newsletters?

A: Not at all! You’ll still have full control over:

• Which articles you select
• Your custom content and personalization
• Your branding and practice information
• Final review and editing before sending

The only difference is that we’re now helping with the technical formatting step, making it even easier for you to get professional newsletters to your clients!
